I had a whole large post planned out for tonight but I have a vicious headache from clenching my jaw so I'll pass on that. Why am I clenching my jaw? It appears that it's an subconscious effort to keep my new glasses (choke... bi-fo-cals... agh!) in the proper place to see.
Actually, they're progressives and I will say that, when they're not slid down my nose, they definitely make it easier to see.
Oy.

NO you are NOT middle aged! I've had bifocals since I was 22! It just means your eyes are fucky, it does not necessarily have a direct correlation to age!
I managed to avid bifocals for another year because my nearsightedness and farsightedness are starting to cancel each other out. My prescription actually improved slightly. But does this help me read the tiny print on a menu in a poorly lit restaurant? No, it does not. And any prescription change gives me me wicked headaches, so I am feeling your pain.
oh my!! i do not look forward to that day...but hey...it could be worse....right?
oy for sure.
No this does not relegate you to the nursing home just yet.
"your eyes are fucky" is a good enough description... that is too funny, Jade cracks me up...heh heh I guess mine are too....
Hey, in case you haven't been told, glasses are a very sexy accessory nowadays! Even if they're bifocals!
Don't you think you should see your eye doctor about the sliding? I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that they should be staying comfortably in place. Maybe you need something a big more snug?
If all else fails, you could just tape the arms to the side of your head?
Hey with the progressive lenses who the heck even KNOWS they're bifocals. LOL That's what I love.
I have progressive lenses, now and thougt about how old I feel...namely cause Great keeps reminding me damn her! :) Katie looks so sweet in those photos...I would kill myself if I only had daycare 2 days a week...I'm about to make you sad, but if you are unemployed,or parttime you are allowed 50% care a day or 3 days at 6,5 hours...no cost for 20 hour care. Fulltime is a 9 hour day and it costs less than a hundred bucks a month!!!! Can you say, YIPEE!?
